This contains information about SWM facilities that were retrofitted to remove pollutants from the watershed. These projects were performed by DoE CIP and Clean Water Partnership. The PE and BMP Type, prior to and after retrofit, are both required for reporting Conversion Of Existing BMP records in BMP Feature Class in MDE GDB.

<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This table is used to track the retrofit of existing SWM facilities to restore the watershed, by adding WQv to the existing facility. MDE GDB requires two fields to be populated where CON_PURPOSE – Conversion of Existing BMP. These two fields are: </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>CONVERTED_FROM: If conversion of existing BMP, then prior BMP Type is required; Conditional if CON_PURPOSE = CONV. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>and PE_PRE_CONV: PE Treated prior to conversion; Conditional on CON_PURPOSE = CONV and PERMIT_ISSUANCE_YR_CREDIT is current permit or later </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The Conversion of existing BMP table will contain the Original PE and Original BMP Type, and will relate to both records in ESD Structural based on Structure ID. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>In ESD and Structural BMP, there will be two records when a retrofit project begins. They will both have the same Structure ID (1234-001), but the existing SWM Facility will have an As Built Date and Project Status will be Permit Closed, whereas the proposed retrofit will not have an As Built Date and Project Status will be Design. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>The existing SWM BMP will have MDE GDB as PG99BMP000001 and the proposed retrofit will have MDE GDB as PG22RST000001. See MDE GDB Guidance for more information on how the unique IDs are concatenated. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>When the retrofit is completed, the existing SWM BMP will be archived and removed, leaving only the retrofit with Structure ID: 1234-001 and MDE GDB PG22RST000001, new As Built Date and Project Status Permit Closed. </SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
